AS World Rivers Day approaches, Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Belief is championing the significance of restoring uncommon chalk river habitats. A celebration of the world’s waterways, the day highlights the various values of our rivers, strives to increase public consciousness and encourages improved stewardship of them. There are only 260 chalk streams on the earth, and Hertfordshire and Middlesex is house to 10% of them.
