Barasinghas are exhausting ground but distinctive species which can be known to populate the lush open tracts of grass on the Bamboo and Teak forests. Around 20 years ago, barasingha was going through extinction but the authorities took some essential measures to guard them by fencing them off. Throughout the winter months, the lush open meadows are teeming with these animals and it has plenty of tiger activities throughout the fringes. One can easily spot the feminine with two small cubs at least two or three times of the day in addition to swamp deer with alarm calls by way of the jungle.
