I'm glad I went to school and graduate faculty. But those that went to Andover, those whose dad and mom went to Harvard, those who felt as a matter of course that they belonged and that the books and the ideas and the teachers represented simply so many ranges on the educational elevator into the elite, I found them tough to reach.
